And of course you can power an EV on hydro, nuclear or hyper-efficient gas/coal which you just can't achieve hyper-efficiency on a ICE vehicle. The only way is with a series hybrid Electric vehicle. When EV manufacture matures it is quite possible a standard BEV skateboard chassis will come with a series hybrid version for long range. Hyper-efficient one speed small diesel engines can be built.
