I have previously compared the energy transition movement to a religion for some quite obvious reasons such as a special language and a set of prohibitions that, although not public, are hard to miss in the energy narrative. Some of these prohibitions are so strictly observed they have effectively become commandments.
Other similarities with religions include: self flagellation ( it's all our fault and we must suffer), the emergence of a priesthood ( it's a power structure to rival Big Oil); heretics must be exposed and ridiculed but nobody may be ridiculed for any statements supporting climate change; humans are worthless while animals etc are benign beings.
How refreshing to read common sense facts that MSM and the masses choose to outright ignore. Will be an interesting decade; especially if the solar spots are diminishing and the climate will begin a cooling cycle in the 2027/28 timeframe. Thanks!
I'm surprised the renewable energy lobbyists have not yet proposed the concept of mining asteroids to source the metals required for their equipment. This would be the pinnacle of absurdity!
As always I like your outlooks and pointed opinions! A great way to start out my day in Dallas.
Thanks, Stu! Have a great one!

True.

A solar minimum will be outright hilarious in the current climate context in the media/governments. Thanks!

It would take a lot of energy to get there and that energy would generate a lot of emissions.
