Irina, I like your idea about doing shorter and timely information and insight for your friends, supporters, and allies.
Especially as humans deal with too many problematical, cross-purposed issues in the real world. The silver bullet for any of the world’s problem is the bigger myth of all.
In particular, the ESG concept lacks the “solidarity” and accounting protocol necessary for any of the imagined benefits and any fraud protections.

P.S. I am a one-man band, so I empathize with your technology evolution issues. I call myself a techno-dinosaur who is trying to keep up with the speed of light.
Thank you, Stephen! I've always had a complicated relationship with technology and the more complicated tech gets, the more tense the relationship. But I try to do my best.
Thank you! Do I want to google what a magical thinking teenager is (so many possibilities!) or would it be too shocking? Being compared to a teen is more flattering than I thought it would be, though. :D
I’m seriously considering your suggestion about putting price caps on the things we purchase. I’m thinking I’ll try it at the restaurant. You know how they bring the ticket AFTER you have finished eating? What a perfect time to spring your price cap on them!! What can they do if they won’t accept your capped price? Pump your stomach to “claw back” the food they served you? I can’t wait to see how this turns out!!
P.S. I love the talk of “clawing back profits” that people have already made. It does sound kinda violent, doesn’t it?!?!
That's the brilliance of this idea, which wasn't mine at all. People thought of it naturally. There is always a way! Restaurants are the best start, you're absolutely right.
The "clawing back" of profits is perhaps one of the most unfortunate headlines WSJ has ever allowed to be published. But as we both know it's nowhere near as unfortunate as what the EU actually wants to do...
Irina love the concept, I always vote with my wallet. May I suggest a slight modification to your idea? Targeted boycotts where we withdraw our patronage from certain suppliers of goods and services i.e. A 3 month boycott on all and any product from a targeted producer, it would only have to happen once or twice to have the competitors quaking in their boots especially when announcing the next target (yet to be named) will experience a 6 month boycott.
Top executives would be apoplectic at the thought of all their annual bonuses and share options disappearing overnight, and if they try more shrinkflation or lower quality then they should get ready for a perma-ban. Our rulers listen to corporations not the people so it makes perfect sense to pressure the corporations not the governments directly.
You need to try something scripted like a comedy music video.
😂 The very idea!

Hilarious! Your delivery was great - it felt like I was listening to a magical thinking teenager on TikTok. Very well done!

Sounds like a pretty cunning plan, I like it.
