Yes. Yes! On Youtube! The world needs this now!

You have tons of ideas, don't think I can add much. But a repeating joke like

Today's self-contradiction (for example, California's must-buy an electric car, followed by don't charge your car now). This could be short, or it could be a longer reductio ad absurdum, with a confederate stooge (maybe Ms. Rate Payer) attempting to follow the requirements.

Ah, this needs a TV series, California, that is. In the meantime, I'll do my best.

The energy situation is replete with ironic humor. I look forward to seeing your SNL response. If you need a few bits, I can help., such as the bit about Taylor Swift taking her private jet 20 miles.

Wonderful - we all need to laugh at this point in time. Can you please teach the young people (at least some of them!) what a joke is, what humor is and being sarcastic doesn't mean what you are saying... or does it? I'm excited to see you in action!

What a clever idea. Fortunately the comedic material is writing itself for you every day. Your key scriptvwriters are a) anyone in the German cabinet b) any climate scientist c) Ursula von der Leyen (and if there is one the EU Energy Commisar), President Biden and his hapless Press Spokesperson (remember Comical Ali, Saddam Hussein’s spokesman?) d) Boris Johnson or his ghastly wife, the Uber Climate Communist Carie Antoinette e) any commentator from a MSM outlet or publication...the list of your joke writers is truly endless. My advice would be to juat read them out whilst trying to keep a straight face...

PS Just seen a Tweet of Anna Baerbeck Germany’s Foreign Minister telling German citizens she will “stand with Ukraine and keep Russian sanctions in place no matter what my citizens think…” You really can’t make this up. Itv is at this point unclear in which country’s Government Frau Baerbeck is currently a Minister….

Did you hear the one about the politicians who kept poking the Bear? Now they are celebrating reaching 80% of gas storage capacity; while acknowledging it will only supply 25% of their needs.

And all the while, sitting on a huge deposit of natty (Groningen), that they vow to not use...

ROFL is all I can say. Excellent one!

(Groningen's problematic with the quakes but there's plenty in the North Sea, I believe.)

Groningen would make a great storage field, infrastructure already there; and injection would likely mitigate the seismic/subsidence issue. If only those in charge would would pull their collective heads out from Greta's... you know where!

How about:

Gas caps don’t work (the prices on gas sales, not the one you open to fill your tank), or

SPR levels are important unless, of course, you don’t have any, or

As the EU President assured her subjects - our gas reserves are full and Europe is ready for winter’s chill!

(Take your pick)

How to earn accolades from climate alarmists. Buy an EV and park in your driveway. No need to charge it or I should I say please be patient until enough wind and solar infrastructure is available.

Believing that EVs will save the planet is like believing that drinking a diet drink with your double cheeseburger will save you from a cardiovascular disease.

Believing Wind Turbines are the answer to producing electricity with no C02 is like buying Playboy magazine to read the articles.

INFLATION IS SO BAD NOW:

•My neighbor received a pre-declined credit card in the mail.

•CEOs are now playing miniature golf.

•Exxon-Mobil laid off 25 Congressmen.

•I called Blue Book to find out my car's value and they asked if the gas tank was full or empty.

That's a great idea! I think globalist Western leaders are misleading their public with the promise of "clean" renewable energy. The implicit truth is that they they truly know the hidden value of fossil fuels and cheap raw materials that enriches their wealth. With this proxy war, they want to get their hands on Russian oil resources and cheap raw materials using military power. The primary settler colonial nations (US/Canada/UK/Aus/NZ and other EU nations are addicted to extraction of cheap energy resources from lands of indigenous people as evidenced by the history of Africa and Asia. Now they are attempting to breach the Eurasian lands of indigenous slavic and related ethnic groups including Ukraine, Russia, etc... Ukraine is the first stop and their goal is to do regime change in Moscow and continue all the way up to Sakahalin Island. The mental affliction of global domination is reflected in the delusionary behavior and actions of leader of collective west. They act like occupiers and do not see their citizens as human beings. This is unfortunate that many people do not understand the psychopathology of their leaders and their own systems. Expanding military and fueling conflicts around the world while talking about climate change are two conflicting objectives. Perhaps, you can show this fragmentation and disconnect to the public through your youtube video. The global energy flow and geo-political power balance are interconnected!

The problem with spotting psychopaths is that it is impossible unless you have been trained to spot them, have heightened sensitivity to them, or you are a psychopath yourself. And many who can spot them, put them to use. Good point about Russia's resources. We saw it in the 90s.

Rob Sitch writer of the popular Australian comedy series called 'Utopia', often stated that they didn't write satire, they just made observations. Your writing already lends itself to this, and what makes it enjoyable is your pithy and at-times sarcastic observations of the energy realities we seem to be finding ourselves in the world-over.

With that I will leave you with some clips, enjoy - maybe they will help with the creative juices :)

Execution would be challenging, but there must be a way to humorously compare/contrast Germany and France and climate action.

Something along the lines of, "So you want to reduce CO2. Do you imitate the country with the lowest emissions in Europe, or just for a challenge do you choose a country in about the middle of the pack. Why would you want low prices, when you can have the most expensive electricity in Europe."

Okay, not funny, but I know that compare/contrast of absurdities is a comedic staple, so there must be a way to humorously accentuate the stupidity of imitating Germany instead of imitating France.
