June 19th is "Juneteenth" in Texas. It was the day when the black population were notified (somewhat belatedly) by proclamation at Galveston that Lincoln (by then deceased) had freed all the slaves and that the Union Army would enforce their liberty. I have subscribed today. Keep speaking the Truth!
