This week, Armando, David, and I had a stab at Western sanctions on Russia and their boomerang effect, which has been like a firework display of economic pain. I am told that at some point I say “mild winter” when I mean “harsh winter”. Since I have no patience to watch myself to verify, I apologise. A mild winter would mean less energy pain but more food pain next year. A harsh winter would cause both (no fertilisers, etc.) And I cannot stress the irony of the EU praying for a mild winter enough. Mild winters = devastating climate change, no?
Note: Video starts at about 4’. Technical issues, I understand.
According to Mike the Volt is having problems with the battery holding the charge. The warranty is only 5 years.
Great content all of you. I like many just do not get it, how cutting off your own energy supplies is helping the Russians. They are swimming in new earned money. What is even dummer the West thinking they can control the world with price controls. 60 to 70% of the world currently does not support the sanctions. Japan told the G& they would continue to buy Russian product despite the sanctions a week ago. So, the G7 grants them a waiver after the fact. The G7 cannot control its own members.
Commodities are sold on the open market no matter what the West does they cannot nor will the world buckle to their demands, period. I have to feed my population, warm and clothe them and the West thinks I am going to do crazy shit like they want is not going to happen, I am going to take care of my country like so many have already stated, they are not siding with the WEST.
Only time and history will tell but the nuts are out there California making IC vehicles unlawful but wait wait for it, you cannot charge them when you need too as the electricity grids cannot support them. I bet the electricity councils are just drooling over the profits. Currently 42 cents a minute to charge your vehicle downtown.
True story from mike a good friend of mine in Olympia who is upset with the greenie crowd, you see he bought a Volt a couple of years back. We now it needs new batteries, best price to replace them is currently 29,000.00 he is now buying another IC compact and all I could do was laugh at him. He was warned.
